Returns Policy

Return Timeframe
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of purchasing your item. To be eligible, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when received. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Please note:

  • Items purchased on sale or at a discounted price are final and cannot be returned.
  • We do not offer exchanges for different items once goods have been sold.

Return Process

If your return is approved:

  1. We'll request photos of the item from multiple angles.
  2. We'll advise the return freight cost (to be covered by the buyer).
  3. Return shipping is typically arranged within 1–3 business days. The buyer must be available at the collection time.
    • Missed pickups will incur a $40 fee per failed attempt, payable by the buyer on top of the return shipping.
  4. Once received at Drop Bear Engineering, our engineers will inspect the item to ensure it has not been fitted or tampered with.
    • If the item shows any signs of installation or modification, the return will be declined, and the buyer will be responsible for the cost to ship the item back to them.

Change of Mind Returns

Changed your mind? No problem – you can return the item within 14 days of purchase, provided it meets our return conditions.
Please note:

  • A 25% restocking fee applies.
  • Return freight is the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Items purchased on sale are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the outcome:

  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please allow extra time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Damaged Items / Delivery Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
By accepting the delivery, you confirm the goods were received in good condition.

If any damage is noticed, contact us at info@dropbearengineering.com.au within 24 hours of receiving your order.

  • Claims made after 24 hours of delivery cannot be processed or compensated.

Warranty Information

All products come with a 12-month warranty if registered on our warranty register found on the product (on the date of purchase / delivery).

If your warranty claim is approved:

  1. You’ll need to cover the shipping costs to send the item back to us.
  2. You’ll also need to cover the shipping costs for the replacement or repaired item to be returned to you.

Important Notes:

  • Warranty applies only to manufacturer defects (i.e., faults that originated from the factory).
  • Damage caused by misuse (including off-roading) is not covered.
  • Minor scratches or cosmetic marks are not eligible for warranty claims.
  • Claims must be made within 12 months of the original purchase date.

Drop Bear Engineering reserves the right to assess and rectify any potential issues or damages prior to issuing a refund. In some cases, a repair or replacement may be offered as a first course of action.
